A strong theme for existing members is that they recognise the Association’s support with standards interpretation and changes to New Zealand building legislation. We help members keep up to date with the latest compliance requirements for products and installation.
Beyond the important legal and compliance side of your business, the Association also supports you as a business owner and manager. We also provide technical knowledge support.

This includes reviewing information about your business and, where relevant, confirming that the products and systems being sold comply with New Zealand codes and standards. These checks are not about restricting membership. They are about ensuring that membership remains meaningful, credible, and trusted across the industry.

Applications must be nominated by an existing member and are approved by the Board, which meets quarterly. Applicants wishing to use the Association’s logo must also complete the Trade Mark Licence Agreement.
